Kun je zien dat hij een IP krijgt van je router (In je router in het DHCP client menu kijken)


Network port-connected printer configuration (direct mode or peer-to-peer printing)

The printer is connected directly to the network and all PCs or clients print directly to the printer.

Requires a network connection on the printer or an internal or external print server. If the printer does not have one, use configuration 3 below.


Installation overview:

Hardware setup - plug the printer directly into the network using a network cable.
Run the CD that came with the printer and follow the steps below for each PC to enable printing.
Information required during software setup - printer hardware or IP address obtained from page 2 of the printer configuration page.

     
Installation steps

1.

Print a configuration page and note the IP address on the second page under "TCP/IP".

For instructions on how to print the configuration page, see the printer's User Guide on the CD. If the IP address is 0.0.0.0 or 192.0.0.192, wait 5 to 10 minutes and print a configuration page again. The network software should assign an IP address to the printer. If it does not, or to assign a particular IP address, go to the instructions at the end of this document.

2.
Insert the CD that came with the printer. The software installer should start without assistance. Click on Install Printer. If the software installer does not start, browse to setup.exe in the root directory of the CD and double-click on it; then click on Install Printer.

Select the language the installer is to display and accept the License Agreement.

On the Printer Connection screen, select Connected via the network.

On the Network Setup screen, select Basic network setup for a PC or server.

On the Identify Printer screen, identify the printer either by searching or by specifying a hardware or IP address. In most cases, an IP address is assigned but it can be changed later in step 8.

If the IP address was specified, verification will be requested to determine if this is the printer that the software install to. If you searched for printers, you will be asked to choose one of the printers found to install to.

On the confirm settings dialog, the IP address of the printer may be changed by clicking Change TCP/IP Settings.

9.
Select the model of the printer.

10.
For the typical software install, select Typical Installation; or, to select the software to be installed, select Custom Installation.

11.
Give the printer a name to be used in the Printers folder.

12.
On the Printer Sharing screen, select Not Shared.

13.
Provide a location and descriptive information if you want.

14.
Allow the installation to complete.

Gebruik je wel het installatie programma van HP ? Gaat anders niet werken denk ik.

gisteren tot 3 keer toe kom ik op internet explorde fout kode 404
ik heb bij hp een netwerk wizard gedownload
hp instal network printer wizard
ik heb van mijn werkgever  instalatie boekje van de printer gekregen en daar stond in dat ik een istalatie cd moest hebben en die heb ik niet op de cd staat de hp jetadmin-software

maar het is wel zo dat ik nu 3 dagen zonder problemen kan internetten en uitprinten
als ik een mac adres cloon in de edimax router knalt mijn internetverbinding er na 1 dag er uit
even afwachten nu

plus mines 2 jaar goed gedraaid de netwerkwizard opnieuw gezocht naar de printer
hij vind de printer dan next en
de wizard gaat verder alles goed maar tijdens instalatie van de driver geeft hp printer de volgende meldin:
Unable to install the printer. Please power cycle your printer and, if applicable, the external Jetdirect print server. Then restart this application. If you need more details, click 'More Information'.
An undefined error has been detected. Communications with the HP Jetdirect print server may have failed while you were installing or configuring it.
Try installing and configuring your print server again.

You may need to temporarily disable the firewall on your computer and run the installer again. For third-party firewalls (such as Sygate Personal Firewall Pro, ZoneAlarm, BlackICE PC Protection, and others), see your firewall vendor’s documentation for instructions on how to disable the firewall.
